These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CallSky, operated by Venus Cloud Ltd. By using CallSky, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
By creating an account or placing a call through CallSky, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
CallSky is an international calling app. It lets you make phone calls over the internet (VoIP) to landline and mobile numbers worldwide. Calls are routed through third-party telecommunications carriers. CallSky is not a replacement for traditional phone service and cannot be used for emergency calls (e.g. 999, 911, 112).
You sign in using the authentication methods available in the app, which may include Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your CallSky account. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately.
CallSky uses a prepaid credit model. You purchase credits through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Credits are denominated in US dollars.
Calls are billed per minute at the rate displayed in the Rate Explorer before you dial. Rates vary by destination country, carrier, and whether the number is landline or mobile. Billing intervals (typically 60-second increments) are determined by the carrier routing the call. Partial intervals are rounded up.
Credits do not expire. Unused credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Refund requests for In-App Purchases are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
When using the Economy provider, connected outbound calls with a duration of 6 seconds or less are subject to a network surcharge of $0.01 per call. This fee is in addition to the standard per-minute rate and reflects carrier-imposed short duration call charges. This surcharge does not apply to calls made via the Premium provider.
Per-minute rates vary by destination and are displayed in the Rate Explorer within the app and on our website. Rates are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to keep displayed rates current, but the rate applied to a call is the rate in effect at the time the call is placed.
